This blog is a catalog of memories, missives, and matters of the mind that have transpired over the course of Quincy’s gap year and post-college explorations. It serves as a physical database of his experiences during this time in addition to his reflections and thoughts directly following these moments. While it is mostly a way for family and friends to follow the journey and get to live vicariously through him, it will also be a concise recount of the many activities and adventures of the year for Quincy to look back on.

Quincy Hirt is 23 years old and was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. Quincy graduated from the University of Southern California in May of 2022 and has been working in the outdoor/experiential education industry for 5 seasons. When not leading trips in the American wilderness or across the globe, Quincy is an avid baker and chef and lover of sports. He is grateful for all the support from his friends and family, especially his many loving parents and siblings.
